I have been working as a freelance translator in English, Russian, Romanian and Ukrainian languages for many years. I can guarantee the quality of my translations and at the same time I offer very competitive rates. My strong research skills and my experience play an essential role in the accurate and timely delivery of the translation.
During my professional career I have specialised mostly in accounting, finance, agriculture, broadcasting, mathematics, trade and commerce, management, mechanics, manufacturing, engineering, building, human resources, literature, food, travel and tourism, personal documents and general subjects.
The documents I usually translate are: technical manuals, travel guides, birth and marriage certificates, user guides equipment descriptions, non-destructive testing procedures, welding instructions, financial reports, agricultural projects, movie scripts, literature, brochures, flyers, business correspondence, marketing research data, tools and appliances manuals, scientific articles, business cards, health care guides and other.
In my daily work I use Wordfast as a CAT (Computer Assisted Translation) tool and Adobe Acrobat Pro. As prices depend on the number of words and the urgency and complexity of the document please do not hesitate to contact me to discuss your particular needs.
The delivery of sworn and certified translations are normally done by post but special deliveries are available on request. A copy in electronic format is usually included.

I am a native speaker of Russian and Romanian languages and I have learnt Ukrainian during my 3-year stay in Ukraine.
I graduated from The Academy of Economic Studies in the Republic of Moldova in 1999. I obtained the BA degree in International Economic Relations and International Trade and BA degree in Business Translation (English into Romanian). I have also attended English courses at the Golders Green College (accredited by the British Council) and was awarded a Diploma in English Language, Proficiency.
I started working in 1997 as a part-time translator-editor at the State Company Teleradio-Moldova, in the Department of Broadcasting and External Relations, translating movie scripts and social, cultural and financial reports into Russian and Romanian languages as well as acting as an accompanying interpreter for representatives of the European Broadcasting Union to different social and cultural venues.
As a part of my University course I worked as an in-house translator for The Agency for Implementation of IFAD Rural Finance and Small and Medium Enterprise Development Project, translating in Russian and Romanian: financial reports, credit agreements, agricultural projects for small businesses, business correspondence and other.
After graduating, I worked for 3 years for JSC ENTEH, as an in-house translator and business administration manager. I translated various business correspondence, contracts, product descriptions and other documents. After just one year I was promoted to the position of Chief of the Information and Sales Department. I was also responsible for ordering stock based on sales trends and market distribution. I supervised a small team of 4 sales managers and a secretary within the department and, as a part of my work, ensured daily production of the reports about the latest information on sales and stocks on the market.
From September 2006 to January 2009 I worked as an in-house translator for the translation agency, Saga-P, based in Ivano-Frankivsk, Ukraine. I continue to work for them on a freelance basis. I have been working mostly from Ukrainian into Romanian, from English into Russian and from Romanian into Russian; translating various technical, personal, economical, financial and literary documents.
As well as that, I have been consecutively interpreting for Russian and English speaking tourists in Italy, for the La Fornace di Pietro Facchini (Fornace Cellenese) and Home in Italy Ltd company , as well as interpreting during business negotiations, translating correspondence, marketing research and analysis data for the Countg Gruppo Target 90 s.r.l.
At present, I work as a freelance translator, based in London, UK and I am preparing for the Institute Of Linguistics Diploma in Translation exam in 2010. I also study French, Italian and German in my free time.
